To promote the development and discipline of the Risk management profession in Rwanda and to foster and maintain investigation and research into the best means and promote training and the exchange of information and idea through supporting the RRMF(Rwanda Risk management Forum) to be recognize regionally as competent professionals who add value in enhancing Risk management knowledge in the Rwandan Banking Industry.

Our Mandate
- To promote standards of professional competence and practice amongst members of the Forum
- To promote research into the subject of risk management and related matters,
- To promote the international recognition of the Forum.
- To advise the RBA (Rwanda Bank Association) on matters relating to Risk management standards and policies;
- To carry out trainings to members
- To do anything incidental or conducive to the performance of any of the preceding functions.
RRMF is governed by 6 member Council comprising;
- A Chairman elected from the members of the Forum. The Chairman is elected for a one year term and is eligible for re-election for a further one year term.
- Three Members elected from the members of the forum. These members serve for a three year term and are eligible for re-election.
- One Members nominated by the RBA and will serve to provide the linkages with the Rwanda Banker`s Association and aid the Forum in fulfilling its role as an advisor to the Rwandan Banker`s Association in matters of accountability and governance particularly as affects the economy. The other Member would be drawn from a profession other than Risk management and would typically represent users of risk management services and would serve to bring the perspectives of these users to the Council ensuring that the Forum and its members serve the public interest.
